With technology it is so easy to shop online, but for apparel did you know that most customers still prefer brick and mortar? And we don’t blame them one bit! Living in today’s day it is so easy to just hit ‘add to cart’ or buy now, but (as most of you know) we are one of the few boutiques that do not offer online shopping.
The ability to see, touch and feel the clothes you will be wearing is one of the biggest reasons our customers still love our shop. You can feel the garment texture, weight and sheerness. We’ve all been there when we get our package in the mail and it’s not quite how it was pictured online.
If you need a different size, you don’t need to wait to return it, or purchase two! We can bring them to the dressing room for you, and help you see which is the right ‘fit’ if you aren’t sure yourself.
Need help accessorizing or putting together an entire outfit? Shopping in-store there are plenty of displays, and we hear all the time ‘I would have never thought of putting that together’ or ‘I have something similar at home that would work just like that.’ It’s nice to play off of different ideas and see what others might do. Yes you can always ‘google’ suggestions, and often websites do have outfits put together, but not for each item, and rarely with accessories and shoes to match.
And let’s not forget the biggest reason… we are all social creatures, that crave social interaction! We pride ourselves with our relationships to our customers that often become friends after just a few visits to the store. It’s nice to be greeted with a friendly smile, some small talk, and actually listen to your needs; not just filtered suggestions.
